International Bank Fly Fishing Championships
T.A.F.I. is happy to announce that at our recent AGM it was agreed that we would participate in the International Bank Fly Fishing International Championships.
T.A.F.I. along with the International Federations of England, Scotland and Wales have agreed to hold a 4 Nations International to cater for bank anglers. All Federations are affiliated to Fips-Mouche the World Governing body for fly angling.
While the finer details of this event are still been finalised, England has agreed to host the first event sometime in October.
Details for qualifying for this event will be published on this site and circulated to our clubs after our first T.A.F.I. Competitions meeting.
This is a great opportunity for Stillwater anglers to fish in an International event as there has been no opportunity for them to date.
T.A.F.I. is happy to be associated with this new International and welcomes participants from all their affiliated clubs to take part.
